Status: Idea → Validation (pre‑MVP). Bordang is in active development and currently in the validation phase. All public materials reflect the project concept; specific features, timelines, and integrations are subject to change after pilot results and Community Council feedback.

Executive summary

Bordang is an open, community-first coordination surface designed to bring milestone‑driven structure, auditability, and curator workflows to Astar funding processes. It separates off‑chain proposal authoring and review (with immutable audit logging and role‑based review) from on‑chain execution (Council/curator motions or extrinsics). Crucially, Bordang does not custody funds nor autonomously disburse treasury assets, it formalizes milestone evidence, streamlines review, and produces motion‑ready artifacts for Council execution.

Intended outcomes:

1) What is Bordang?

Bordang is a web platform that enables builders to submit funding requests (UCG and direct grant flows) and bounties with explicit milestone definitions and evidence requirements. Applicants author proposals with structured milestones (description, deliverables, acceptance criteria, timeline, and requested amount per milestone) and submit them for curator or Council review. Curators review evidence off‑chain in Bordang; when a milestone is approved, the platform creates a motion payload (metadata and links to evidence) that curators or Council actors can use to originate the on‑chain motion that triggers treasury disbursement.

Key design principles:

2) How will Bordang work? (user flows)
